Each year, we revisit this statement and set our focus for the year ahead. This year, as we continue to journey towards the vision God has given us, our focus is to be:
A church that knows their purpose
We want to be a church that knows as purpose corporately - to invite people into relationship with Jesus and to seek transformation across our region and in our lives - and individually - that this purpose wouldn’t be about Sunday church but all of life.
A church that welcomes new people generously and intentionally
This year we want to set a table to welcome others. Be that at the Binks Building on a Sunday morning, or by welcoming others into our everyday lives, we want to be a people of intentional and generous invitation and welcome.
Be a church that offers a robust pathway for everyone to grow in their faith
We want to be a church where people grow. Whether new to faith or having followed Jesus for years, we want to have a culture of stepping forward in faith and have systems in place to facilitate that growth.
Be a church that is heavily investing in young people
We want to create irresistible environments for everyone from age 0 to 18, spaces where they long to be and where they encounter Jesus in ways that shape the rest of their lives.
